Weekly Checkup

Once again for probably the third time this year.. I have been sick for the past couple days. I NEVER used to get sick before having Dorrian -- literally. I had my tonsils and adenoids removed whenever I was a youngin' and that seemed to cure me of ever being sick. My immune system went into over drive and I repelled sickness. Now it seems as though I had passed that on to Dorrian (or he stole it from me whenever he was locked up in my womb for nine months.) Because I catch everything he has. Thing is though he just carries it and it never phases him too bad, only me. The worse thing to me is having a cold. I literally just sit on my couch with a box of kleenex and dayquil for days. My husband just kept ranting to me that I needed to go outside and get fresh air. I WAS SICK. I did not want to move, clean or even use the restroom. I was miserable and he had to spend his two days off taking care of me. But hey buddy.. the vows said through SICKNESS and health. You signed up for it, mhm. 

You know it is sort of funny how marriage works. When you are first married or even dating when your husband brings you flowers or candy you think he is the best person ever. Then after a year or two small things make him glow. Like when he covers your feet when you are covered up. Or when he wakes you up from sleep to give you your medicine whenever you are sick. It's these little things that make me just the happiest woman alive to have found someone that treats me so well. 

Easter is coming here in a week. I am very excited. Went out today to buy an easter basket and candy for Dorrian. I consider it his first easter because last easter he was still pretty young -- to young to cherish the holiday at least. This year it will be cute hiding the eggs and watching him walk around the yard hunting for them. Which reminds me I need to charge my camera.. thanks.

Sorry for such a short post -- I am so exhausted. Trying to be healthy is pretty tiring.
