Fall -- The best, oh and amazing, season there is!

I never realized how amazing piles of leaves in your front yard can be. Well, they entertain my little one a whole lot. They also seem to be edible in his little mind, considering all of yesterday he was attempting to put ever single one in his mouth.

Oh, how cute. 

His birthday has just past, although it did not go as well as I had been planning since he was born. It was still very enjoyable. The yelling children, the cake throwing, the who gets the next slice arguing -- Oh... birthdays. Even though he was too young to understand why a crowd is staring at him singing "Happy Birthday" I loved seeing the joy on his innocent little face. Espicially whenever I stuck his personal elmo cupcake, that he was trying to seek out for the last couple hours in front of him. Oh --- did he enjoy it.

 Did you know Albertsons has a first birthday special going on in their bakery? --- Whenever you order a first birthday cake, they throw in a personal cake for your little one for free. Talk about good deals!

I found the cutest little idea on pinterest the other day. A mother takes a picture of her son every fall, because his birthday is in fall. She organizes the leaves in a number that represents his age and takes a photo of him next to it. So, I took this little idea and will do it myself. How could you not?

I guess his being born right smack in the cold, worked out in our favor.
